FundFocus started where most companies do: with a problem we'd lived ourselves. Founders burning months on cold outreach to investors who would never write the check. VCs drowning in decks that didn't match their thesis. Both sides losing time to the same broken matching layer.
We'd been on every side of it. We'd written the rejections. We'd received them. We'd watched great companies miss their window because they were pitching the wrong rooms, and watched mediocre ones close rounds because they happened to land in front of the right partner on the right Monday.
The signal was there. The data was there. The intros existed somewhere in the network. What was missing was the layer that could find them in 60 seconds instead of 6 months.
