How does the VC matching work?
We maintain a structured database of 2,500+ active VC funds across pre-seed to Series C+, covering every major startup ecosystem (Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania). Each fund profile includes investment thesis, stage focus, average check size, geography, sector preferences, recent investments, and partner backgrounds. Your deck is scored against each fund's profile and ranked by fit.
What file formats do you support?
PDF, PPT, PPTX, and Keynote files up to 50MB. Decks with embedded video are processed by content; we don't analyze the video frames themselves.
Can I upload multiple versions of my deck?
Pro and Scale plans include unlimited revisions. Every upload is tracked against your previous score, with diffs that show which changes moved which dimensions.
How is FundFocus different from a pitch coach or advisor?
A great pitch coach is invaluable but slow and expensive ($300–$1,000/hr) and limited to their personal pattern matching. FundFocus was built by ex-VCs, ML engineers and exited founders, and gives results in 60 seconds. Most founders use both coach for strategy, FundFocus for benchmarking and matching.
What if my score is low?
Low scores are not the end they're the start. Every score comes with a prioritized fix list ranked by impact. Most founders move 15–25 points within a single revision cycle. The platform is built to make iteration fast and visible.
What happens after my 7-day Pro free trial?
No surprise charges. We email you 48 hours before the trial ends. If you don't upgrade, your account auto-reverts to the Free plan you keep your past analyses but lose access to Pro-only features (unlimited evaluations, VC matches, warm intros).
Can I cancel or downgrade any time?
Yes from your account settings, no email or call required. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods, but you keep full access until the period ends.
